- What it is
- Boswell-Beta, in Utrecht, runs Dutch VWO exams that many Dutch universities accept as proof of subject level, for example in Mathematics A or B.
- How it works
- Exams are held on fixed dates, in person in the Netherlands. You register with Boswell-Beta, and you submit your certificate to the university through its application system before the programme deadline.
- Typical targets
- Some programmes set a minimum grade. For example, Erasmus University Rotterdam lists 7.0 for VWO Mathematics A and 6.0 for Mathematics B for its International Business Administration bachelor. Always check your own programme.
- Check each year
- Dates, subjects and requirements change, so confirm them with Boswell-Beta and your university.
Dutch universities that accept it
- University of Groningen
- Accepts Boswell-Beta VWO certificates to cover a maths or physics deficiency, with a minimum of 5.5. Mathematics B is asked for most Science and Engineering bachelors, and Mathematics A for the Economics and Business programmes. Medical Sciences, Spatial Sciences and Campus Fryslan take A or B. Physics is listed for Medical Sciences and Science and Engineering. See the official list.
- Erasmus University Rotterdam
- Lists 7.0 for VWO Mathematics A and 6.0 for Mathematics B for its International Business Administration bachelor.

- Each Dutch university and programme sets its own list of accepted certificates and grades. Check yours, then tell me which exam you need.
