Based in Thessaloniki. Lessons are online, so I teach students in Thessaloniki, Athens, across Greece and abroad.
What we work on
- MYP Mathematics, at Standard and Extended level: number, algebra, geometry, statistics and the skills that prepare you for the IB Diploma.
- Sciences with a focus on Physics: forces, energy, waves and electricity, and writing up investigations.
- The assessment criteria: knowing and understanding, investigating patterns or designing investigations, communicating, and applying mathematics or science in real-world contexts.
- Preparation for school tests and, where your school uses them, the Year 5 on-screen assessments.
Getting started
- Send me your school, MYP year and what you find difficult, and I will suggest a plan.
How lessons work
Lessons are one-to-one and online, with shared digital notes and worked examples. We start by finding the gaps, then build a plan around the exam date.
Taught by an examiner
I have marked over 3,500 scripts for Cambridge and OCR since 2022, so I know how answers are assessed and where marks are lost. View my certificates

Good to know, for students and parents
- What it is
- The IB Middle Years Programme is a five-year programme for ages 11 to 16, with eight subject groups including Mathematics and Sciences. It prepares students for the IB Diploma and other upper-school courses.
- Your options
- Mathematics is taught at Standard or Extended level in the later years. The Extended course goes further and is a common route to HL Mathematics in the Diploma.
- How it is assessed
- Mainly by teachers, against published criteria, with grades from 1 to 7. Some schools also enter students for on-screen assessments in the final year, which lead to an MYP certificate.
- Why it matters
- The habits built here, such as showing working and writing up investigations, carry straight into the Diploma.

Explore, question and grow together

How progress is tracked
Every course includes the same four tools, so you always know where you stand.
- 1
Student assessment
We start with a short diagnostic to see what you already know and where the gaps are.
- 2
Progress plan
A written plan built around your exam date, updated as you improve.
- 3
Mock tests
Timed mock tests under exam conditions, followed by feedback on every lost mark.
- 4
Practice tests
Practice tasks and school-style tests, marked against the MYP criteria

Do you teach in English or Greek?
Both.
Can you help with the MYP criteria?
Yes. Teachers mark MYP work against criteria, so we practise showing each criterion clearly in your answers.
Can you help with other subjects?
My own subjects are Physics and Maths. If you need help in another subject, send me a message and I will direct you to established colleagues I work with and trust.
