From school to the university you want
Targeted preparation for the tests that open the door to engineering, science and medicine programmes.

Based in Thessaloniki. Lessons are online, so I teach students in Thessaloniki, Athens, across Greece and abroad.
The tests
- ESAT, the Engineering and Science Admissions Test, used by many engineering and science courses.
- IMAT, the International Medical Admissions Test, used for English-taught medicine courses at Italian universities.
- Humanitas University in Milan, which uses its own admission test, separate from the IMAT.
What we work on
- Physics and Mathematics content at the level the tests expect.
- Solving unfamiliar problems quickly and accurately.
- Timed practice with past and specimen papers, and reviewing mistakes.
- A study plan that fits the date of your test.
How lessons work
Lessons are one-to-one and online, with shared digital notes and worked examples. We start by finding the gaps, then build a plan around the exam date.
Taught by an examiner
I have marked over 3,500 scripts for Cambridge and OCR since 2022, so I know how answers are assessed and where marks are lost. View my certificates

Good to know, for students and parents
- ESAT
- The Engineering and Science Admissions Test is required for some courses at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and UCL. It is a computer-based test at Pearson VUE centres: Mathematics 1 plus two of Mathematics 2, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, each 40 minutes with 27 multiple-choice questions, scored from 1.0 to 9.0. It is offered twice a year, in October and January, but Oxbridge applicants need the October sitting. The 2026/27 fee is about £78 for UK and £133 for other applicants.
- IMAT
- The International Medical Admissions Test is for medicine taught in English at Italian public universities. It is sat once a year, usually in September, in person, and you register online through Universitaly (the fee is around €130).
- Humanitas
- Humanitas University in Milan runs its own test for Medicine and Surgery. In 2026 it was taken from home in two rounds in March, with 60 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes covering scientific thinking, academic literacy, biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics. Registration opened in November and the fee was €200.
- Check each year
- Dates, fees and rules change every cycle, so always confirm them on the official sites. I help you plan backwards from your test date.
Universities that ask for these tests
- Italy: medicine (IMAT)
- English-taught medicine at Italian public universities is admitted through the IMAT. In the 2025/26 list these included Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Messina, Milan, Milano-Bicocca, Naples (Federico II and Vanvitelli), Padua, Parma, Pavia, Rome (Sapienza and Tor Vergata), Turin and Ancona. Seats and universities change every year, so confirm the current list on Universitaly.
- Italy: Humanitas, Milan
- Humanitas University runs its own admission test for Medicine and Surgery, separate from the IMAT. Check its website for the current rounds.
- Italy: engineering
- Politecnico di Milano uses its own online test (TOL) for engineering bachelors, with sections that include Maths and Physics. It also accepts TOLC-I and CEnT-S from CISIA, and the SAT, converted to its own score. See the official page for the current rules.
- United Kingdom: ESAT
- The ESAT is required for some courses at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and UCL. Each university lists its own requirements.
How progress is tracked
Every course includes the same four tools, so you always know where you stand.
- 1
Student assessment
We start with a short diagnostic to see what you already know and where the gaps are.
- 2
Progress plan
A written plan built around your exam date, updated as you improve.
- 3
Mock tests
Timed mock tests under exam conditions, followed by feedback on every lost mark.
- 4
Past papers
Past papers for the test you are sitting, worked through together
Questions
Do you prepare students for all the sections?
My focus is the Physics and Mathematics content. Tell me which test and sections you are sitting and I will say how I can help.
Are test dates and formats the same every year?
No. Check the official test provider for current dates and formats; I help you prepare for the content and technique.
Can you help with other subjects?
My own subjects are Physics and Maths. If you need help in another subject, send me a message and I will direct you to established colleagues I work with and trust.
