Based in Thessaloniki. Lessons are online, so I teach students in Thessaloniki, Athens, across Greece and abroad.

What we work on

  • Number and algebra, functions, geometry and trigonometry, probability and statistics, and calculus.
  • Using the graphic display calculator efficiently and showing the working that earns marks.
  • The Mathematical Exploration: choosing a topic, building the mathematics and writing it up clearly.
  • Past papers and timed practice, with attention to how marks are awarded.

Choosing the right course

  • If you are unsure whether Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation fits your plans, tell me your university subject and I will explain the difference.

How lessons work

Lessons are one-to-one and online, with shared digital notes and worked examples. We start by finding the gaps, then build a plan around the exam date.

Taught by an examiner

I have marked over 3,500 scripts for Cambridge and OCR since 2022, so I know how answers are assessed and where marks are lost. View my certificates

Good to know, for students and parents

What it is
Every IB Diploma student studies mathematics, so it is one of the most-taken subjects in the programme. There are two courses, each at HL or SL.
Your options
Analysis and Approaches (AA): algebra, functions and calculus, usual for science, engineering and maths degrees. Applications and Interpretation (AI): statistics, modelling and technology, usual for social sciences, business and design.
When the exams are
Twice a year, in May and November, mostly May.
Assessment
Written papers plus the Mathematical Exploration, an individual project marked by your teacher.

How progress is tracked

Every course includes the same four tools, so you always know where you stand.

  1. 1

    Student assessment

We start with a short diagnostic to see what you already know and where the gaps are.

  2. 2

    Progress plan

A written plan built around your exam date, updated as you improve.

  3. 3

    Mock tests

Timed mock tests under exam conditions, followed by feedback on every lost mark.

  4. 4

    Past papers

IB past papers, marked with the official mark schemes

Questions

Do you teach Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation?

Yes, both, at Higher Level and Standard Level.

Can you help with the Exploration?

Yes. I help with choosing a topic, checking that the mathematics is at the right level and structuring the write-up. The work stays the student's own.

Are lessons in English or Greek?

Both.

Can you help with other subjects?

My own subjects are Physics and Maths. If you need help in another subject, send me a message and I will direct you to established colleagues I work with and trust.
